As a teacher, take refresher courses for free. Training of mentors for young professionals in educational institutions (72 hours) Refresher courses for young teachers

According to the approved for 2016 Plan-schedule of activities to improve the skills of employees of municipal educational organizations and educational institutions Republic of Adygea in the Adyghe Republican Institute for Advanced Studies" from March 9 to March 11, 2016, advanced training courses for young teachers were held on the topic: "Algorithm for working with educational and methodological documentation of a teacher."

The modern school requires the teacher to search for new ideas, a creative approach to conducting lessons. Therefore, the purpose of the courses was to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of application of educational and methodological documentation of a teacher in educational institutions.

The advanced training courses were attended by 38 young teachers with work experience up to 1 year from municipal districts and urban districts. Young teachers were offered theoretical and practical materials and was designed for an 18-hour training course.

The following took part in the course:

- "Psychological conditions for the personal and professional growth of a teacher" - Guchetlev R.R. Associate Professor, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Head of the Center for the Development of Pedagogical and Psychological Education ARIPC;
- "The use of information and communication technologies in the work of a young teacher" - Filippov A.V., teacher of mathematics and computer science, MBOU "Lyceum No. 34", Maykop, winner of the competition "New school - new teachers";
- "Studying regulatory framework educational organization. Getting to know local regulations schools "- Krivenko N.M. , teacher of biology and chemistry, MBOU secondary school No. 28, Maykop, Honorary Worker general education RF, Honored Worker of Public Education of the Republic of Armenia;
- "Modern methods and forms of work with parents" - Melnikovas G.A., teacher primary school MBOU "Gymnasium No. 5", Maykop, Honorary Worker of General Education of the Russian Federation;
- "Algorithm for preparing and conducting open class. The structure of writing self-analysis "- Pakhomova O.I., biology teacher, MBOU secondary school No. 1 st. Giaginskaya, "Excellence in education of the Russian Federation;
- "Portfolio of a teacher as a means of assessing the level of his professional competence" - Novoselova T.F., leading consultant of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Adygea;
- “Didactic tools for a young teacher. Innovative projects in education” - Tatarenko I.I. , teacher of geography, biology RTSDOD, candidate of sociological sciences.

Also during the course, a conversation was held about the problems of young teachers associated with the use of new technologies in teaching. Experience and areas of work with children motivated to study and success were shared with young teachers by teachers with extensive experience, winners of competitions, festivals: “A new teacher for a new school”, “Teacher of the Year”, Constellation”, etc.

As part of the course, a training was held for young teachers, during which the trainees voiced the motives for which they came to the profession; made up the image of the ideal teacher and “tried on” it for themselves; analyzed their professional difficulties, identified ways out of difficulties.

For students of advanced training courses, the final lesson was round table, where students exchanged information received in advanced training courses.

During the course, young teachers received the necessary information for further successful work. Upon completion of advanced training courses, all young teachers received a certificate of completion of the courses.

The head of the group Bevova M.Kh., upon completion of the courses, issued to young teachers teaching materials for use in practice.

By law, teaching staff must undergo advanced training at least once every three years. However, the administration of the educational institution has the right to establish its own “quality standards”, sending employees to courses, for example, once every two years - in this case, this should be reflected in local regulations.

At the same time, professional development is not only a duty, but also a right of a teacher. In other words, educational institutions must “create conditions” for the professional growth of employees - organize the training of teachers, send them to courses with or without work leave, pay travel expenses if the courses included in the “mandatory minimum” are held in another city, and so Further.

The form of passing advanced training courses is not regulated by law. They can be:

  • full-time,

  • part-time,

  • correspondence,

  • using remote technologies.

Until 2014, the minimum course duration for a teacher was 72 teaching hours. Now this requirement is no longer relevant - "to offset" the passage of short-term courses can be programs, the development period of which is from 16 hours.

Who should pay for advanced training courses

The costs of additional education of teachers are included in the budget and the administration of the educational institution is not entitled to oblige the employee to independently pay for the courses included in the prescribed “minimum”.

The only exceptions are long-term (from 250 hours) retraining programs, when it comes to essentially getting an education “from scratch”. This issue has become relevant in connection with the introduction of new professional standards for teachers, according to which, for working with children in without fail education required. Therefore, graduates of, for example, biology departments of "academic" universities who teach biology at school, or engineers leading children's technical circles, are faced with the fact that their education no longer corresponds to their position. In this case, pedagogical retraining is carried out at the expense of the employees themselves - the educational organization has the right to fully or partially finance the courses, but is not obliged to do so.

If an employee has a pedagogical education, but the school administration wants him to “expand his profile”, master a related profession and start teaching new subjects, it should be at the expense of the educational organization.

How to take advanced training courses at a budget expense

The most common option for taking advanced training courses is in the direction of an educational institution. In most cases, these are full-time or part-time courses that are held:

  • institutes for advanced training of teachers,

  • departments of continuous education of universities,

  • city methodological centers,

  • educational institutions that have the status of resource centers or experimental sites.

As a rule, an educational institution has a quota within which they send teachers to study at the budget expense. Sometimes the teacher is asked to choose a course from the list, sometimes a specific program is offered. In most cases, teachers have the opportunity to "take the initiative" - having read the list of programs in advance, choose something interesting for themselves personally and ask to be sent to this particular course.

Courses can be devoted both to the teaching of individual disciplines, and to more “universal” things - for example, project activities, inclusive education, interactive teaching methods, enhancing the creative activity of students, work on the Federal State Educational Standards, and so on. For young teachers, special courses are usually provided that introduce them to the specialty.

Free distance courses for teachers

Free-courses are another option for improving the qualifications of a teacher, which is gaining more and more popularity. When choosing a distance course, you should pay attention to whether a standard certificate is issued, which will be “recorded” in an educational institution or during certification. In some cases, distance learning itself is free, but you will have to pay for the preparation of "crusts" about the training you have completed (as a rule, we are talking about small amounts that are not comparable to the cost of commercial courses).

Online courses can be permanent or take place at certain periods of time - in this case, registration for them opens in advance. Training may consist of self-study of text materials, watching video lectures, preparing term papers and so on.

Free distance courses you can go, for example, on the following resources that issue state diplomas to successful students:

The success of the School's activities depends largely on how well the mechanism for organizing self-education, creating conditions for working with documents and literature is worked out in this educational institution. Here it is also important to remember that if there are young specialists in an educational institution, it is necessary to organize work on the principle of a young specialist - a mentor.

A prerequisite is the availability of work plans, observation maps, and a diary. A young specialist should also not forget about choosing a topic for self-education and organizing work on it under the guidance of an experienced mentor.

When can a young specialist be certified?

Important

Professional development is an educational process for teachers that needs to be carried out systematically. Practice shows that the scattered passage of courses does not achieve a positive effect in replenishing the baggage of knowledge in improving pedagogical activity. To date, the reform of education is radically changing the status of the teacher, his educational functions.

Accordingly, the requirements for his professional and pedagogical competence, for the level of his professionalism, are also subject to change. Currently, there is a need for teachers: - creative; – competent; – capable of developing their personal potential. The teacher needs to strive for change, generate it, make independent decisions and be responsible for them.
Raising his professional level, the teacher must remember: learning is a process that continues throughout life.

Young Professional Teacher Refresher Courses

Taking advanced training courses gives you the opportunity not only to learn about new requirements and technologies modern education, but, first of all, to meet people who think the same way, who are dedicated to their work, and endlessly love their profession and children. Professional development courses for teachers are in demand at all times. However, the problem of retraining and improving the professional skills of educational workers did not lose its relevance.

Naturally, sooner or later, the knowledge acquired by a teacher in higher educational institution become obsolete and lose their relevance. It should be noted that the methodology of teaching any subject is subject to change, because the science of "pedagogy" itself is constantly evolving and does not stand still. The teacher must possess knowledge and be able to share it with his students.

In the beginning, a few words about the CCP in general. I’ll make a reservation right away that I’m voicing not only my own, but also the opinion of almost all the colleagues with whom I work. The CPC is a useless burden on teachers, which, moreover, affects the experience (when taking full-time courses, the time spent on courses does not go into experience) and on salaries. Do they teach something new there? Sometimes yes. But people do this, as a rule, divorced from the real school life, although they have teaching experience in the past.
What is the attitude of teachers to this mandatory procedure? Yes, as a burden that needs to be pulled out so as not to conflict with the administration. If there is an opportunity, then the PDAs pass internally, "skipping" lessons. If the teacher does not have such an opportunity, or he does not want to interrupt the educational process (albeit legally), then the teacher goes to distance courses, which are now visibly invisible on the network.
What does a teacher expect from distance learning? As a rule, having paid his hard-earned money (I have never heard that the school compensated someone), with minimal effort he will receive a certificate, without which (horror!) The school cannot exist.

And this is where pitfalls can await us, which you may not even be aware of!
In January, I signed up for the PDA at http://moi-universitet.ru
I was tempted by the price and speed of passage. Yes Yes! Courses are not free at all, as stated in the article! They cost me about 1900 rubles.
Traditionally, the contract stated that several tasks would need to be completed. Because I have already taken distance courses before, I was not embarrassed. There is always an understanding that people are sitting on the other side who understand that teachers do not go to remote PDAs from a good life, and formal assignments are issued, as they say - for show. Well, judge for yourself: if you have been working for more than 1 year, well, what can you be taught, especially remotely? And if it is possible, and there is such a need, then you will certainly learn by yourself!
The team of the site http://moi-universitet.ru thinks differently. Having posted several articles on the so-called "Active Learning Methods" on their website, they issued SUCH tasks for work, from which, to be honest, I was a little stunned. But, putting aside all the pressing matters and spending a whole precious weekend, I diligently began to fulfill them. I repeat: for work there are only articles posted on their website! Forum students - almost dead. Nobody answered my questions. There were no webenars and conferences. Those. the most primitive approach: here's what to read, here's what you need to do. And then as you wish. As far as I understand, such "training" is designed for copyright: sit, proofread, copy, paste.
Imagine my surprise when, after submitting my work, I received a dry notice: "Unfortunately, wrong."
To the questions "what exactly?" there were no answers. Until then, until I wrote an angry (but correct) review to their group in VK.
After that, they answered me, and seemed to indicate what was wrong. But it didn’t get easier for me, because. The next task was nothing less than developing a lesson according to their methodology! Can you imagine? What does it mean to develop a lesson according to a little-known (and useless in school conditions!) Method, with a description of the didactic part and inventing active games that should be used there?
I suspect that they are sitting there for our money smart people who thus compose and publish collections, and even write dissertations.
In general, my money cried. I did not do anything else, so I was informed that I would not receive a certificate. And everything is legal, according to the contract.

I describe all this so that when choosing remote PDAs, you, dear colleagues, first find out in detail on what conditions you will pass them and how much work will need to be done. Agree that it’s a shame for our hard-earned money to do a huge amount of work, for which we, as a rule, have absolutely no time! And considering that after execution it is still possible to get the answer "Sorry, wrong!" instead of the long-awaited certificate - then in general, is it worth it?

By the way, they deleted all correspondence in VK. If I were wrong, then reinforced concrete arguments could be brought against my arguments and left for everyone to read. However, the businessmen from education decided differently. After all, they need to earn money on us, so there are only positive reviews on the wall.

And I found the courses in 5 minutes. from your home. A little more expensive, but it’s enough to attend a few lectures and you don’t need to complete any assignments.
