Alexey Shevchenko published a very nice book - festive, beautifully designed. It is called "Forty Forty" (I hope you put the stress in both words correctly!). The book, as the name implies, is mainly a play book, Alexey knows how and loves to play poetry, and this ability is organically included in his children's lyrics. “This book can be read slowly,” the author informs us, “but it is best to read it quickly, and not just quickly, but very quickly! You can even compete with moms and dads, grandparents, who will read tongue twisters from this book faster and without hesitation. Indeed, not a book, but a firework of tongue twisters, and sometimes funny! For example, this one is “Doctor Woodpecker”:

Early-early In the spring Woodpecker Called To the pine tree. - Well, well, well, how's your health? Knock-knock-knock - A sad sound. Chok-chok-chok - The knot hurts, There-there-there Sits a bug. Chik-chik-chik And the pain is gone! Yum-yum-yum And that's it!

Or here is a tongue twister with a wonderful name "Puff for an elephant":

We baked the Baby Elephant Sweet Puff. Asked Elephant Give more Puff! He ate so much Puff, How much the ELEPHANT cannot eat!

Artist Nadezhda Borisova.

We all know well that tongue twisters are not just a word game, this is a useful game: we learn to pronounce sounds correctly, clearly separate words, learn to keep our speech in line with our thoughts. To my great regret, listening on the street to how teenagers talk to each other, I often draw the only conclusion: children are missed, porridge in the mouth, we don’t know how to intonate, we swallow the ends of words; I just don’t understand how, with the help of such meager speech means, one can express a more or less complex thought ... Smart adults are worried because of the abundance of new, especially foreign, words in our lives. And I always want to object: let's deal with our relatives! You still have to live to see foreign ones. But we neglect our own and do not pay attention to it.

Aleksey Shevchenko, inventing his "patter" stories, helps the kids to get comfortable and be masters in the most wonderful state in the world, which is called the Native Language.

The first books by Alexei Shevchenko were published in the second half of the 80s - since then the poet has written many poems, many of them are published in children's magazines and collections. He writes about familiar, traditional things: this is the living world of nature, rural labor, urban life, and most importantly, his home. His heroes settled in a rather cozy world, in which there is much more warmth than drafts, and kindness is much stronger than all sorts of intrigues.

This Alexey Shevchenko is both interesting and attractive. He, like a skilled carpenter, hews log after log, builds a log house, brings it under the roof - for every movement he has a joke, every fleeting glance notices everything necessary and useful for the job. He is a thorough poet, Alexey Shevchenko! So his tongue twisters look like small, but cleverly crafted houses, where it really is fun and cozy:

Along the path Walked without fear A turtle, Waddling, Walked towards me. From the jug Turtle Skull Found on the way. From the brook of murmuring water She scooped up with a shard, Promised In the evening hour To treat me with a Seagull.

For a long time we have become embarrassed (and often justifiably) of the loftiness in which completely normal and necessary concepts are sometimes dressed up - love for home or respect for the land. Pomp arises when the author is false - he feels not what he writes about, writes not about what he feels.

It is about this - love for home, land, family - that Aleksey Shevchenko speaks in his poems (and tongue twisters are only a small part of them). Alexei is not at all shy - on the contrary, he strives to talk about all this, but he does not let any pathos into his poems. Therefore, they sound natural, kind and understandable to the smallest reader and listener:

I will draw a house Bench at the gate, On burdock leaves Two curled snails. Here is the grandmother in the window, Chamomile bouquet. Do you care? And I don't care anymore!

I will open to you little secret: I know why it happens. Already long years Aleksey Anatolyevich Shevchenko educates beginner poets in the St. Petersburg Palace of Youth Creativity. Does he really not know what and how young poets talk with the muses, what their souls are most disposed to, what their feelings respond to! I am sure that this knowledge helps the poet himself to write, perfectly imagining his reader.

Tongue twisters for children

Tongue twisters (colloquially tongue twisters) were known long before the advent of the wheel. With their help, children learned to comprehend their native speech in a fun and playful way. Today, tongue twisters are specially composed for children from difficult-to-pronounce sequences of letters and words, the rapid pronunciation of which aloud eliminates most speech defects.

All tongue twisters (pure tongue twisters) are ordered according to the sounds being worked out. Tongue twisters for children will help the child learn to speak clearly and beautifully, and will also help improve diction and memory. Tongue twisters for preschoolers should be short and easy
