Detroit android become human best ending. Survivors

Is the most twisty Quantic Dream game in terms of storytelling. The game has a huge number of different plot forks that can lead to completely different endings. In this guide, we will tell you about all the endings of Detroit: Become Human and how to get each of them. Warning, this article contains spoilers!

All endings for Kara

The first ending - Kara dies in the house with her master. This ending is possible if you do nothing and do not try to save Alice and yourself. Further, the story will develop without the participation of Kara.

Second ending - Kara and Alice die at the end. Such a course of events can be obtained in completely different ways. For example, when Kara tries to escape from Jericho, she can be shot by people. To save Kara and Alice, you need to pretend to be dead and not move. Also, Kara can be shot when she tries to get on the train past the guards. In this case, Kara will die if she cannot agree with her former owner, or if she gives false documents to the guards. There are also other options for Kara to die at the end.

Third ending - Kara survives, but Alice dies. This ending can be obtained if you end up in the Recycling Center. When Kara is asked to take the android's body to the landfill, you must volunteer to complete this task. Pick up the body and throw it away at the designated location. Keep going forward until you finally get to the truck and exit the Recycling Center. If Marcus is holding a peaceful demonstration, he won't be able to save Alice in the camp in time. Also, if you take the path when Alice is under a lot of stress, she will be killed if Kara does not intervene.

Fourth ending - Kara dies, but Alice survives. It is necessary to cause insanity among the guards in the Disposal Center. After that, Marcus must choose a violent way to solve the problem - to arrange an armed revolution. He will be in Alice's camp in time and save her. In addition, at the end, when crossing the border, Kara can sacrifice herself to save Alice. In this case, the girl will live.

Fifth Ending - Kara and Alice survive the end. You can get the best ending both at the Recycling Center and when crossing the border. In the Recycling Center, you can find Luther and the broken androids from the Zlatko chapter. While waiting for death, join Alice, then look at Luther and talk to him. Then look to the right by pressing L1. You will see a fence - this is the escape route. Talk to the broken androids and send them to distract the guards. Luther, Kara and Alice will successfully climb over the fence and escape. You will also get the HAPPY FAMILY achievement. However, at one point the guard will try to stop Kara. Choose a path to protect Alice and try to successfully press all the buttons in the scene with the QTE mechanic.

If you cross the border and save Jerry from the amusement park, you can use him as a distraction. If you did not save him, then you can pass through the border calmly only on the condition that Marcus chose a peaceful path. In this case, Alice and Kara will survive.

All endings for Connor

First ending - Connor dies. In fact, Connor can die several times and all of these times can be the last for him. For Connor to die in any case, just fail every mission and do nothing in QTE moments with him. Ultimately, Connor will no longer be replaced with new models and he will die in the Detroit: Become Human storyline. The hero can also die at the very end when he tries to turn androids into deviants. This can happen if you do not have time to eliminate the guard, or lose in a fight with your copy.

The second ending - Connor survives, but remains just a machine. In order for Connor to remain loyal to people and his master, just follow the story and successfully complete all the tasks. In this case, you will fight with your partner, but you can save the character as an android without feelings. Also in the home of the creator of the first android, destroy the machine when asked to do so. Ultimately, when you get to Marcus, resist his temptations and try to stop the deviants. In the end, Connor will remain a machine and survive.

The third ending - Connor survives, but becomes a deviant. In order for Connor to become a deviant, you need to violate the task often. Be careful and try to maintain a balance in relations with the owner and partner. When asked to kill the first android, say you can't take that step because you feel it's wrong. When you find yourself in Jericho in front of Marcus, let him convince you to take his side. Break through the camp of the program code and free yourself from the need to follow the orders of people. To prevent Connor from dying at the end, successfully eliminate all the guards while trying to turn the androids into deviants. Also convince your partner that you are the real Connor by answering his questions correctly. At the end, you will be shown how Connor brings an entire army of deviants to Marcus. When you find yourself in the world of your own mind (in the garden), try to quickly find the button with the image of a hand in order to free yourself from the captivity of the program and not kill Marcus.

All endings for Marcus

First ending - Marcus dies. You can get this ending in many ways. different ways. In important scenes with QTE mechanics, just fail the task. Best of all, refuse to save the character at the end of the game. Marcus will die, but will leave a mark on the hearts of all deviants.

Second ending - Marcus dies during a peaceful protest. When, during a peaceful action, the policeman asks Marcus to come up to him and talk, fulfill his request. He will tell you that if you surrender and complete the peaceful action, he will spare you and your beloved. In reality, the cop will deceive Marcus and kill him if he agrees to the terms of the deal. Ultimately, even if Marcus backs out of the deal, he may end up sacrificing himself while killing the androids. Just choose the option to sacrifice yourself and Markus will be a real hero in the face of the deviants.

Ending 3 - Marcus survives the peaceful protest. Here you will need two things: do not make a deal with the police and press the buttons in time during the QTE scenes. In case of failure, Marcus will die, and therefore you need to try to do everything as successfully as possible. When a group of deviants are cornered, kiss North (only if you have opened a love line with this character), or start singing. When choosing one of these two options, the police will be ordered to lower their weapons and Marcus will survive, having fulfilled his main goal - to win the favor of the people and lead his people to freedom.

Ending Four - Marcus dies during a violent revolution. During the active phase of the uprising, simply skip the QTE moments so that Marcus will end up being killed. If Markus encounters Machine Connor, successfully defeat Markus in combat and kill him. Keep in mind that Hank (partner) will interfere with you if he is alive, so it's best to let this character die in previous episodes.

Fifth ending - Marcus survives the violent revolution. Here you need to succeed in all the QTE scenes that will occur while playing as Markus. You will also need to either defeat Connor in a fight or wait for him to arrive with an army of CyberLife deviants (both options depend on who Connor ended up becoming). During the revolution, much blood will be shed and die a large number of deviants and people, but in the end the police will retreat. This ending is very ambiguous, since the battle won marks the beginning of a full-scale war of deviants against humans. Marcus will live on and become a key force in the war.

Detroit: Become Human Secret Ending

In fact, this ending takes place after the end credits, regardless of your previous decisions. Once in the main menu, you will be approached by an android girl who will tell you that she feels like she needs to start new life. You will have a choice: release the girl and let her leave, or forbid her to leave the main menu. In the first case, the girl will thank you and leave the main menu. After that, it will no longer appear when you start the game. If you leave the girl in the game, she will be unhappy, but will comment on your actions in the menu. It is also worth noting that the conversation with the android girl will take place even before the final credits. The character will often hint at the fact that he is gradually turning into a deviant.

Main plot
As soon as you get to Radcliffe, you will immediately realize that everything is simply disgusting there: Earl Eamon is dying, crowds of undead attack the city every night, complete bedlam and devastation reign among the population. We're starting to sort things out.

village under siege
First of all, we go to the city church and speak with Bann Tegan there. He will enlighten us a little about the situation in the city and ask us to help repel the attack of the undead the next night. We agree, but in order to successfully repel the attack, we have long preparations ahead of us.
First, let's talk with Head Boy Murdoch. he will complain to us about a hell of a lot of problems:
1. The blacksmith does not want to work because his daughter is missing.
2. The most zealous warrior Dvin does not want to help defend the city, because he is simply afraid (paradoxical stupidity, isn't it?)
3. The morale of the militias is running out, because the greedy innkeeper fights for a drink at exorbitant prices.
After listening to the headman, we go to solve the above questions. First, let's take a look at the tavern. There, we first speak with the bartender, then with the waitress, and then with the visitors. After that, talk to the bartender again and shame him well, if the persuasion skill is at least level 2, then the bartender will leave his place and join the ranks of the militia. Now talk to the waitress again, she will make the prices of all goods free, which will have a positive effect on the morale of the militias. Also ask the waitress about the strange elf sitting next to you. She will say that he is not local. We go to him and squeeze information out of him. The elf turns out to be Loghain's spy. You can kill him, or you can force him to defend Radcliffe.
Now go to Dvin's house and give him a good scare (again, you need persuasion skill level 2 or higher). After that, Dvin agree to defend the city.
Now go to the blacksmith Owen and take the quest "Lost in the Castle". Agree to look for his daughter as soon as possible, but in return ask him to immediately get to work. Everything, you can report to Head Murdoch that the militia is in full readiness. Now go to the mill and talk to Sir Pert. On the way, drop into an abandoned trading shop and find barrels of oil. Perth will need to be told about them, with their help he will make incendiary traps against the attacking undead. Also, Sir Perth will ask you to check the rumors that the churchmen have enchanted amulets that would help protect his people from the undead. We go to the church to the reverend mother, of course, she does not have any amulets. Then we suggest that she outwit Perth and his knights by passing off ordinary trinkets as artifacts enchanted by the church. If the persuasion is upgraded to at least level 2, then she will agree. After that, report back to Perth, complete all the minor tasks from the other townspeople, and wait for the onset of darkness.

Lost in the castle
The quest is given by the blacksmith Owen. He will agree to take the job if you promise him to search the castle for his missing daughter Valena. The task will close as soon as Valena is saved.

lost child
A girl named Caitlyn (at Redcliffe Church) will ask you to look for her missing brother Bevin. This must be done before dark, otherwise the quest will close by itself. The boy will be hiding in a closet on the first floor of his house. As a reward, you will receive a good sword.
Attack at dusk
With the onset of darkness, the undead will attack the city. You have to hold 2 strategic points. First - the road from the castle to the city, then - the city square. In the end, everything will end well and the attack of the ghouls will be repulsed.

Earl of Radcliffe
After the battle, talk to Bann Tagan at the mill. Erlessa Isolda will run up to you and ask Tegan to go with her. Do not let her go right away and ask her to briefly clarify the situation. You will get little from her, for she is very frightened. As a result, you will agree with Tegan that he will go to the castle with erlessa, and we will go there, but on a secret hike in the mill. Let's hit the road. In the dungeon, we will stumble upon a prison in which Jovan (the blood magician) will be imprisoned. It turns out that it was he who poisoned Earl Eamon on the orders of Teyrn Loghain. You can kill Jovan, you can let him go, or you can just leave him in prison for now (it's better to do that). Then we get to the first floor of the castle, but you can’t go into the main hall, because. the door is barricaded, you will have to go around through the cellar and the courtyard, cutting through the detachments of skeletons. In the courtyard, open the lever and let the knights in, led by Sir Perth. Now go back to the castle. Once in the main hall, you will see a funny picture (ban Tegan will somersault on the floor, amusing Connor, the son of Earl Eamon). As it turns out, the boy began to show abilities for magic and his mother decided to hire a teacher (Jovan) for him, all this was done in secret from his father in order to protect his son from the templars. But the boy somehow failed the veil between the shadow and the real world. The demon swallowed his soul and now lives in his body, terrifying the neighborhood. After revealing all these details, Bann Tagan will attack you with a bunch of knights. Having received it properly, he will come to his senses on the head. Connor will have run away by then and you can decide what to do next. For the solution, Jovan will be brought from prison, who will talk about three possible options:
1. Kill Connor
2. Send one magician into the shadow, but since this ritual requires lyrium (which is not) a human sacrifice will be needed. In this case, you will have to slaughter erlessa Isolde.
3. The most difficult, but the most successful option: you can penetrate the shadow without human casualties, but this requires several mages of the circle and lyrium. You can get hold of all this in the tower of the circle. We go there, put things in order according to the main plot, after which we ask the first sorcerer Irving to help us with the ritual. We return to Radcliffe, send ourselves into the shadow (if you are a magician), or Morrigan, or Wynn, or Jovan. You still have to play for the chosen mage. In the shadows in a small location, kill the demon of desire and free the boy from his captivity. Now is the time to start saving Earl Eamon himself.
Note 1: If you send Morrigan into the shadows, then after that she will stop being offended that you are constantly helping someone (she will still be sarcastic, only without losing her reputation). If Connor is saved by Jovan, then you will have a chance to save his life after saving the life of Earl Eamon.
Note 2: If you are a magician and went into the shadows yourself, then you can persuade the demoness to leave Connor alone for a while, as a reward you can bargain for the ability "blood magician".

Urn of sacred ashes
Earl Eamon can be saved only with the help of the ashes of the prophetess Andraste. But where to look for the urn with this "cure" for all diseases? We learn that a priest, Brother Genitivi, who lives in Denerim, is looking for the urn. Let's go there. In his house, we will be met by Genitivi's assistant, who will say that he went to Kalenhad Lake and should be looked for in the "Spoiled Princess". If we have a well-pumped persuasion skill (up to level 3), then we can easily recognize deception and put pressure on this "assistant". He will get into a fight, this mistake will cost him his life. In the next room, we will find a real assistant, as well as information on where to really look for Brother Genitivi. If, nevertheless, you were not able to reveal the deception and went to Calenhad Lake, then fanatics will meet you near the "Spoiled Princess". From the corpse of one of them we take information about the so-called Vault. There you should look for the missing priest.
The hideout is located in the south of the Frost Mountains. The village is rather strange. the first guard will very clearly hint that we are not welcome here, like any other strangers. We look into the first house, where a human carcass will be carved on the altar. We go to the store, talk to the merchant (if you like something from him, then it is better to buy it right away, because then it will be impossible to buy or sell anything, because the dead do not trade). We are trying to go into the next room, the merchant will attack us for such arbitrariness, so we will have to kill him. Again we go to the next room, there we see the corpse of one of the knights who were sent by Sir Perth in search of the urn. Hmm, fun town. We go outside and go to the church on the hill. There we will witness a rather ominous sermon, after which we will be attacked. From the corpse of the main cleric we take the key to the temple and in the next room we find brother Genitivi. He will tell you that fanatics live here, whose goals are unknown to him, but they settled in ancient temple Andraste and the urn must be somewhere inside it. Genitivi leads us to the temple and opens the door with a key. Then we will go alone, and the holy brother will be waiting for us in the main hall. At first, our choice is small, since only 2 passes are available for exploration. In the right of them we will find a door locked with a key. We will find the key to it in the left passage. Returning, we unlock the door, examine the room and find the key to the central passage. Soon we will find ourselves in a cave, which will eventually also be divided into two parts. In the left of them there will be a shelter of sectarians with the leader Kolgrim, as well as an exit to the top of the mountain; on the right - a bunch of small dragons, from which it would not hurt to shoot trophies. Kolgrim will offer us a deal: get rid of the guardian of the urn and desecrate the ashes of Andraste with dragon blood so that she can finally be reborn in a new guise - an ice dragon. If we do this, Leliana will leave us, Alistair will be very offended, but Kolgrim will teach us the ability of the ripper. However, it is more correct to kill Kolgrim and his henchmen. We remove all the equipment from it (it is, by the way, very good), and most importantly, we take the horn to summon the ice dragon, after which we go to the top of the mountain. There will be a short video showing that the ice dragon sits on a plateau and will not fly off from there if we do not call her with a horn. This can be done immediately, or later, when you decide for yourself that you can fill up the dragon.
We go into the cave with the urn of sacred ashes. The guard will meet us and tell us about the tests of the glove. We agree to go through. To begin with, he will arrange a brief interrogation for you and your companions, just answer the lines that are most polite and truthful. Next, the door will open and you will enter a hall with eight spirits. Each of them will have a riddle for you, if you guess it, the spirit will fly away towards the door and help open it, if you don’t guess, it will turn into a demon that you will need to defeat, after which the spirit will still contribute to opening the door. Here are the answers to the riddles, they are located in the same way as the spirits, if you stand at the beginning of the hall facing the closed door:

compassion hunger
mountain jealousy
house revenge
dreams melody

When the door opens you will enter a room with twelve buttons. Each button turns on a specific section of the bridge. For a section to be passable, two buttons corresponding to its number must be pressed. By changing the location of three satellites, you must lead the fourth to the end of the bridge. If you do everything right, the bridge will eventually become completely visible and you can walk back and forth as many times as you like. Here are the section numbers for the steps. The numbering of sections is given as they are removed (1 - the closest, 4 - the farthest); the location of the buttons - from a position at the beginning of the hall facing the abyss.

2 2
4 3 and 4
1 and 4 2 and 3
1 1
4 1 and 2
3 3
Initial algorithm: put one satellite on the second button on the right (1 and 2), and the other two on the third and sixth buttons (it doesn’t matter which side). 2 active steps will appear. GG stand on the second of them. Then shoot from the third button of the satellite and become it on the fourth button on the right (2 and 3). Now remove the satellite from the "1 and 2" button and put it on the button responsible for the third section of the bridge (the first one from any side). Now you have the second and third sections of the bridge active, advance the GG from the second section to the third. Then repeat all the steps so that you end up with the third and fourth sections active.
Having finished with this puzzle, go to the room of the last test. In front of it, we have to fight with clone spirits (an exact copy of our party), then a fiery wall awaits us. To get through the wall of fire, you have to... strip down to your underpants. Now the guardian of the urn will reappear and say that we are worthy to touch the ashes of Andraste. We take a pinch and return to the main hall to brother Genitivi, who has already been waiting for us. He will be completely delighted with our story and will say that he is going to Denerim in order to organize an expedition to these lands. Well, we, in turn, go back to Radcliffe to heal Earl Eamon.
The dust will act and, in gratitude, Eamon will support us in the fight against pestilence, and will also announce a plan to eliminate Loghain. At the same time, he will execute Jovan for betrayal (you can save his life if it was Jovan that you went into the shadows to save Connor's soul) and will open you the ability of a knight. Ahead of us is the collection of the army and the collection of lands in Denerim.

Preacher's board
The fate of the caravan
You have to go to the area marked on the world map and find out what happened to the border caravan. The news will be sad - the caravan will be plundered.

Brothers and sons
You have to go to the area marked on the world map and find out what happened to the Easthind squad of knights. The news will be sad again - the squad will be killed by the creatures of darkness.

last hope
You have to go to the area marked on the world map and try to save the refugees. This time everything will be in order, you will recapture them from the enemies safe and sound.

Skin thickness
Bring 9 Cadaveric Bile to the priest singing at the board. it is easy to collect from the skeletons that terrorize the city. Also, if you are patient and bring 18 servings of bile, then you will get 2 times more gold.

Unintended Consequences
Note: The quest appears only after you summon a certain Dodger to the towers of the circle (see the quest "The Science of Summoning")
You need to kill the one who attacks the caravans. When we arrive at the place, we will find out that the Rogue, whom we accidentally called in the tower, was behind everything.

Upon arrival in Radcliffe, you will first have a conversation with Alistair (if he is in your group), in which he will tell you some curious details of his origin, and then you will be greeted by Thomas - one of the villagers. From him you will learn that the village in recent times constantly being attacked by the undead. The undead appear every night from the earl's castle, and no one knows anything about the fate of both the earl himself and the rest of the inhabitants of the castle. At the end of the conversation, Thomas will escort you to the Church building, where the earl's brother, Bann Teegan, is located. He will confirm the seriousness of the situation and ask you to help defend the village.

Theoretically, you can retire, leaving the village at the mercy of the undead (in which case it will be destroyed). In practice, even if you play the most notorious villain, extra experience and loot will not hurt you, right? In addition, many other quests are related to local residents, and if the walking dead kill them all, then it will be somewhat difficult to complete these quests.

After talking with Teagan, exit the Church and talk to Headman Murdoch. He will tell you about the problems with the local blacksmith Owen, who refuses to do his job, and also mentions a certain Dvin, a dwarf who is an experienced warrior, but does not want to take part in the defense.

Go to the forge and either persuade the blacksmith to open the door for you, or break it down (you can open it yourself if you have the appropriate skill). The blacksmith can be promised to save his daughter Valena from the castle - in this case, he will immediately get to work. Evil heroes can kill him, and then either give Murdoch the armor from the chest in the forge (but it won't be as good as the armor crafted by Owen himself) or keep it and lie to Murdoch that he'll have to make do with what he has. In the latter case, the defenders of the village will be armed even worse.

If you settle the matter with the blacksmith peacefully, then he himself will give you the key to the chest if you ask about it, and you can do with its contents as you wish, including selling it on the spot to the same Owen.

As for Dvin, he, like Owen, can be persuaded to take part in the defense or simply killed. (If you want him to fight but don't have much diplomatic talent, you can simply pay him for his services.) If he decides to help the villagers, he will join Ser Perth's knights in battle along with his two lieutenants. (Dvin, by the way, will not respond to all your calls, so if your hero does not have the lockpicking skill, you will have to break down the door to talk to him face to face.)

In addition, if you wish, you can involve the local innkeeper Lloyd in the defense of the village - he needs to be threatened, polite persuasion will not work here.

You can also help Ser Perth inspire his knights in the upcoming battle by persuading the Reverend Mother to give you the sacred talismans of the Church. Talismans do not really provide any special protection, and therefore reverend mother will be against giving them to the knights, but you can still persuade her to do this for reasons of raising morale.

You can add another potential defender to your ranks if you talk with the elf Berwick in the tavern. Almost any direction of the conversation will let you know that the elf is here for a reason (if your GG still fails to figure it out, then his associates will help him - for example, Zevran or Leliana). To improve your chances of getting Berwick to clean water, before talking to him, ask the waitress Bella and / or Lloyd himself about him. You can also steal from him a letter giving him instructions, and thus force him to confess. After the elf finally confesses why and who sent him here, you can tell him to take part in the defense of the village, send him away or simply kill him.

If you search an empty trading shop, you will find a barrel with interesting contents there. You can tell Ser Perth about her - in this case, she can be used as a trap and set fire to the passage along which the undead usually get to the village.

Once you're done, report to either Ser Pert or Murdoch that you're ready for defense, which will automatically take you to the moment of the night attack.

If you set fire to the passage, then I advise you not to get too close to it - the knights of Ser Perth and Dvin with assistants (if he joined the defense), who are quite obviously not very smart, sometimes run straight into the flame, safely roasting themselves alive. Lure the Darkspawn on you away from the fire if you wish to keep them alive.

After you kill a certain number of opponents, one of the villagers will come to you with a message that part of the Fiends is attacking the defenders of the Church building from the side of the lake. Run after him. Unlike the first part of the defense, it is more difficult to use spells and skills of mass destruction here due to other defenders scurrying under the feet, besides, the Spawns receive replenishment much more often and in greater numbers.

As before, you need to kill a certain number of opponents, but sometimes some of them get stuck on the approach from the lake and do not appear at the place of defense. If a lot of time has passed, you do not see other Fiends and absolutely nothing happens, search the area for "lost" enemies - when you deal with them, you will automatically be transported to the next morning.

After summing up the results of the battle, Bann Teagan will ask you to meet him at the mill building. There he will reveal to you the secret of the existence of a secret passage to the basement of the castle, but he will not have time to add anything significant, because at that moment the wife of Earl Isolde will appear. It doesn't matter how you lead the conversation - as a result, Teagan will still decide to go to the castle with her, after handing you a family ring that opens a secret door.

Go inside the mill and go down to the secret passage that will lead you to the castle dungeon. After you have dealt with several walking dead, the magician imprisoned in the chamber will call out to you. If you yourself play a magician, then you will recognize your old friend Jovan in him. Jovan, as it turns out, is the same magician who poisoned Earl Eamon, although if you ask in more detail why on earth he needed it, you will find out that Loghain was involved in this.

You can kill Jovan (although most of your followers will not approve of this), leave him in a dungeon, or set him free. In the latter case, depending on what options in the conversation you choose, Jovan can either escape from the castle or stay to try to fix his handiwork.

After clearing the dungeon from the dead (beware of the corpses on the floor, they have a habit of coming to life very quickly when you are nearby), you will get out to the first floor of the castle. Unfortunately, the door to the main hall is closed and at the moment you do not have direct access to it. You need to exit through the door to the basement, go through the courtyard and enter the main hall from there. In the part of the castle accessible to you, you will find even more walking dead, and in one of the northern rooms there are also a few mabari dogs, but in general there is nothing particularly interesting there. Exit to the basement - which, as a nice change, will be free of opponents - and then to the courtyard. The yard will also seem empty at first - but only before you take the first few steps. After that, two groups will be outlined in it - several skeleton archers at the top of the stairs and several skeleton warriors led by a revenant in the far corner of the courtyard. The revenant party won't get close to you unless you get too far away from the courtyard entrance, so it makes sense to shoot the archers from a distance so you don't get distracted by them later

If Ser Perth is still alive after the siege, then he and his knights are waiting for you behind the barricade, which you can raise by pressing the lever in the wall. In this case, they will join you and help in the battle. Decide for yourself if you need more help. The revenant in the courtyard is an elite, so he's a level down from those you might have already met by breaking the black vials or in the graves in the Brescilian Forest. Having finished with him, you will have to decide whether to invite Ser Perth (if, of course, he is still alive) with you to the castle or leave him to guard the gates. It has no other meaning than additional help in fights, so do as you please.

Entering the main hall, you will see a very remarkable scene with the participation of Bann Teagan, Iseult and Connor. Regardless of how you lead the conversation, everything will again end in a battle. Don't be afraid to go against the Teagan - you won't kill him, he will just pass out and regain his former mental clarity when the fight is over.

After the battle, you have to decide what to do. If you destroyed the Circle Mages and killed or kicked Jovan out of the castle, then you will have no choice - you will have to kill Connor. If Jovan decides to stay to help, he will offer an alternative, which in turn has two solutions: accept the sacrifice of Isolde or use the help of the magicians of the Circle (you must choose the option “Is there really no other way?”, so that Jovan comes up with this idea) .You don't have to complete Broken Circle already for the last option. If you decide to follow this path, then you can simply go to the Mage Tower, solve their problems and ask Irving to help in Connor's case. Of course, if you have already saved the mages, then all you have to do is just return to the Tower and talk to Irving. The death of Isolde will cause a huge loss of influence with Alistair. He will not like Connor's death either, but in both cases, the loss of influence can be reduced (or even completely nullified) with the help of Persuasion. If you save both mother and son, you will receive a significant increase in his influence.

Note: if you killed or drove Jovan away, but saved the Circle Mages, then you will have the opportunity to save Connor only with their help (of course, the Blood Ritual with the Isolde death option will not be available to you in this case). In this case, advice on what to do in order not to destroy the boy will be given to you by your party members - for example, Wynn or Morrigan.

If you decide to kill Connor, then follow to the second floor. Having broken through the militia of the walking dead, you now have to deal with the demoness of desire. Twice, when you take a certain number of lives from her, she will disappear, and several new opponents will appear in her place. When you finally finish her, Isolde will appear. You can convince her of the need for a victim (then she will ask you to let her do the deed), or knock her out and kill Connor yourself.

If you decide to go to the Shadow, then you have to choose who to send there. If you used the Blood Magic ritual, you can send Wynn, Morrigan there, or go yourself if you are a mage. If you used the services of the magicians of the Circle, then in addition to the above, you can send Jovan there, although this will not affect his future fate at all. If you have developed Persuasion, you can even persuade Irving himself to go to the Shadow.

In the Shadow, you have to find Connor several times, running back and forth through the Shadow Portals. Each time at the end of the conversation, you will have to fight a demoness who will call more and more smaller demons to help. If you are a magician and went to the Shadow yourself, then in the last conversation with the demoness, she will make you an offer - she leaves, leaving Connor alone, but returns in the future, and you will be rewarded with a skill point, blood magician specialization or ... moment pleasures with a demoness. You can also ask her to raise the disposition of any of your allies towards you - in this case, it will rise by 20 points. With Persuasion leveled up, you can use threats to claim more than one reward, or a reward plus a promise to leave Connor's mind and not return (in this case, Connor's epilogue will be exactly the same as if you killed the demoness). If you accept the demoness's offer, then your allies (and everyone else) will react in the same way as if you killed her. The difference will be visible only in the epilogue in the story of future fate Connor.

If you sent someone else into the Shadow, then you will not have options to end the conversation peacefully.

If you sent another magician to the Shadow (or rejected the offer), then the last conversation will end in a battle. After you take enough lives from the demoness, she will begin to split into copies - be careful and hit the one that highlights a little more than the rest. Also look out for the nearby lyrium (it will be especially useful for Jovan, who has no mana potions or healing).

Death of the demoness or acceptance of her offer will end your stay in the Fade.

Once you've dealt with Connor one way or another, your next task is to somehow bring the dying Earl Eamon back to life. The only way to achieve this is to get the ashes of Andraste, which, according to legend, has miraculous healing properties.

Non-plot quests

Rescue the blacksmith's daughter Valena. Valena is located in the castle (in the part where you first get from the underground passage to the exit to the basement and the courtyard) in a small room at the end of the corridor in the northeastern part of the map. You must find her before you end up with Connor anyway. If you do not do this, then she will be considered dead, and the blacksmith will kill himself if you tell him about it.

This quest gives you Caitlin in the Church building. She cannot find her younger brother and fears that something has happened to him. The little brother is hiding in their house in a closet on the first floor. This cabinet is not highlighted by pressing the TAB key, you just need to get close enough to it to activate the dialogue with the boy. You can convince him (or threaten him) to give him the key to the chest on the second floor, which contains a very good family sword. After that, send him to the sisters and go talk to her yourself. If you want, you can offer her to return the sword after the battle.

The time will come to go to the castle, where she came from. The culprit of her appearance will be Connor, the son of an earl with magical abilities. To train Connor, the blood mage Jovan, who had once escaped from the Circle of Magicians, was hired by the erless Isolde. The development of abilities and an irrepressible desire to help his dying father led to the fact that the mind of the boy in a dream was taken over by a desire demon from the Shadow, who took advantage of the moment while the Veil was thinned by the inept actions of the young magician. The hope for the success of the ritual remained only because the boy gave himself to the demon voluntarily. If the demon were possessed by power, then one would have to face the possessed. There are two ways to save Connor - use blood magic, then erlessa Isolde will sacrifice her life, or invite the First Enchanter Irving from the Circle of Magicians, if the magicians were saved.

One of the companions will go to the Shadow, it can be either Morrigan, or Wynn, or main character mage, and Jovan or First Enchanter Irving. The second option is to kill Connor, ending all attempts by the demon to subdue the victim. Connor's death will affect the game's ending and emotional condition parents. In the story, this is reflected at the level of dialogues, without any other serious consequences. By the way, if you do not visit the Shadow, the chance to get desire from the demon disappears, which is available only to the main character, the magician. By making a deal with a demon, there is a good chance to influence the plot of future games in the series. dragon age, for example, in Dragon Age 3, where the demon is likely to cause a lot of trouble. To get a specialization, you can do something trickier: go through the Shadow, get what you want and replay this segment of the game again, this time killing the demon.
